Recent adventures with inserting an invisible zip into a bias cut silk dress got me thinking about some sewing techniques I need to practice. (I abandoned the zip after three attempts; the bias cut meant the dress pulled on without it.)
So first on the list is exactly that: inserting a zip into a bias seam.
Silk painting: I’d like a custom made top and a beautiful silk square.
I’ll add items here as I think of them, and maybe post about the technique too. A short list doesn’t mean I don’t need to practice stuff, it just means I haven’t added it yet!
