I’m losing track of all my magazine snippings and scraps of paper with jotted down recipes, so I thought I’d put a week’s worth together here to make food shopping and prep easier. After all, it’s often too late to plan sensibly once I walk through the door after work. So a little time spent now will reap rewards on the scales next week. I’ll add links to recipes as I post them.
I know the theory about not skipping breakfasts leading to unhealthy snacking later in the day. But that doesn’t seem to be true for me. For years I ate healthy breakfasts of fruit, muesli, yogurt, porridge…and got fatter! So then I decided to try fasting until lunch, and it seems to work for me.
I do however love breakfast foods so may eat my bagels or fruity muesli layer pots for lunch or tea instead.
However, for now, lets focus on lunches and evening meals.
All recipes serve 4. I add carbs for the rest of the family, but for me I run better without.
