Autumn sew-along

I’m really feeling the sewing love at the moment, and I’m in the middle of clearing the spare room to make myself a proper sewing space. More about that later, but as part of the Project 333 I thought I’d join in the Autumn sew-along over at the Stitcher’s Guild sewing forum.

2013 6-Piece Autumn Collection (6PAC) Sew-Along (August-October)
I chose navy/charcoal  as the dark neutral, grey marl as the light neutral and a duck egg/greyed turquoise as the colour.
The 6 items are suggested as
Sew up as follows:

1 – a jacket or cardigan in the dark neutral.  In my opinion, you should sew this first as it sets the tone of the whole collection.
2 – a bottom (trousers or skirt) in the dark neutral
3 – a top in the light neutral
4 – a bottom in the light neutral
5 – another jacket or cardigan in the colour
6 – a top in a “linking print” or the colour

My wardrobe edit revealed some gaps, so I’ll be sewing
1) wool mix casual jacket Sewaholic Cordova, in  a tweed from Croft Mill:

2 a departure from the 6, I have a lovely cotton linen fabric in greys with turquoise accents (Not as brown as it looks here)

3 Style Arc’s shelly top in a silvery grey jersey

4 charcoal trousers in Hot Patterns weekender bootcut

5 knit a duck egg  cardigan
6 sew a duck egg  top
