Piano SWAP: planning

I still need a better title than this for the SWAP.

Using the Piano shawl as a starting point I’ve been through my sewing room and pulled out fabrics that go. All are solids, and pick up the brights in the shawl, as well as ivory, taupe and an ink blue.

The fabric is fragile and I need to investigate how colourfast the embroidery is. But it could work well as a Kantha Vest like this one:

Second wild card: a red trench coat, Robson?

Third wild card: previously made cable cardigan (I made mine in apple green), just needs blocking and finishing off.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download

5 tops:
1&2:  A TNT Pure & Simple top from Cutting Line Designs (no longer available as far as I know). This is a lovely alternative to a knit tee, really flattering and comfortable, plus really quick to sew. I have a few print versions; for this swap I’ll be making one aqua and one coral, in a silk crepe.

3: A sleeveless princess line shirt in an ivory handkerchief linen. I had a similar RTW version and wore it out. Pattern:  Style Arc Sara without the sleeves.

4: Burda top in an Ivory wool/cotton mix

5: Archer Shirt in a navy microfibre, really silky and draps well.

3 bottoms

Style Arc barbs in indigo:

A chino style skirt in a neutral twill, probably an Ottobre pattern:

Now to sketch, and put together a mood board.
